Living in the 90's right now.

Three different genres and loving it. I'm re-living those days when I was such a young girl and naive. Still naive, though. As of now, I personally think music in the 90's still tops! I'm sharing it with you so that you can re-live those days with me. I mean, come on.. I'm sure one of these song must have some connection with you. As for me, "I need a girl. Part II." reminds me of my fiance during his hippity hop days. Yeah, those who know, knows that my fiance was one huge ass hip hop fan in high school with 'em baggy jeans, shirt and high cut shoes. I thought he look damn cool and, as always, adorable. I'm not blind. He gotta a humble number of girls fallen for him. Of course, I won his heart.

The "Rolling" song reminds me of those days when I was really into skateboard and how badly I wanted a skateboard boyfriend. Another rock band that I was hearing around that time, other than Limp Bizkit was Linkin Park. Those were the days, man ... I did date a skater and had one skater chasing after me but all that was infatuation. Puppy love. Did I mention that I was such a tomboy girl? Yeah, Rough, rowdy wearing my bag super low as though it swept my school canteen floor. But as I grew up I went from baggy low from short shorts. I find that so amusing.

"Stay the same" reminds me a lot about growing up as a whole. Not changing because people wants me to but staying the same for myself. As I'm growing, I'm beginning to learn a lot about myself and the things that I do. I always try to reason with myself so that I stay focus.

I must stay focus.

Ups and Downs

Past few days, I'm on emo mode. Nah, it isn't always about me.
I hope the people around me are coping well..
"You're are not alone, I'm always here for you."

I'm not as strong as you all are because I never dared to bring myself through that phase. Which is why I can feel the unhappiness and tears as I envisioned the situation. One has gotten over it and another is still in progress. I want to see all of you smile again. Its perfectly fine to have low moments in your life, that makes us human.

To happiness, soon!

Geylang bazaar with friends.

After sitting for a paper, I went down to Geylang Serai with my schoolmates. Our paper ended at 1900hrs and we had to masticate, on our way to Geylang, in the bus. It was hilarious actually.. I had this analogy that the bus driver was not too happy with the fact that, to be specific, we're drinking bubble tea and eating a slice of pizza in the bus. I mean we're not supposed to be doing that but the train systems in Singapore are much more harsh in terms of the 'No food and drinks" policy than bus rides. Imagine the amount of people boarding the bus during peak hours.. So, my thoughts went, "The bus driver did the jam-break thingy and I nearly lost my balance!" *doing the balancing and falling act* I shared this with my friends and they kinda agreed with me. We made a hell lotta noise on over way there. Like we own the bus. We're sorry uncle! It was so nice of you to not throw us outta of the bus!
Surprisingly, there weren't much people there. We arrived at about 8ish. My friends and I had our 2 round of food around Haig Road and the food was tasty and at a reasonable price! My first time because all these years, I was just a passer-by. I guess before the place looks so unfriendly. After the much needed renovation, I didn't mind eating there. I had a lotta fun albeit bought nothing inedible. There's just something about Geylang Serai that tempts people to munch, munch and munch! *winks*

Nevertheless, it was a look-look and see-see outing for me. I have not decided on what kinda outfit I should wear for this year's Eid Mubarak..

I wanna check out Arab Street Bazaar next!

Sing-a-long!

Slept real late on Thursday. Met my group mates for our final year project discussion. After that, we went for some sing-a-long session! Its been a hell long time sing I 'sang'. For the record, I can't sing at all! My sisters sing better than I do..
We're all ready and exited! I think it was quite a deal.. 5 people for only $40! Well, considering it was a weekday and we're there around 3-4pm? That explains the very affordable price! I remembered one time I went for a sing-a-long session with my other friends, somewhere around town area, it nearly hit $100!
Two songs I sang were 'Shape of my Heart' by Backstreet Boys. I'm such a sucker for boy bands, period. now that they're slightly matured (so wrong to call them old, *winks*) Let's call them man bands, shall we? *giggles* My friends said that I was truly feeling the song. Uh, hell yeah. I'm their number one fan and the perfect fan. *dreamy* I never get to see them when they're here in Singapore ... I hope they will make one more trip down and I'm so gonna be there! *cries*

I have to say this but can I apologize first? *sad face* I never listened to Amy Winehouse often but when she left this world, I'm starting to like her songs and voice even more. *slaps own face* So, I sang one of her songs and, man, I sound like her. Haha! *kidding* I told you, I can't sing at all.

We had a hell lot of fun!
After all the singing, we're hungry and we went to Swensen's for dinner. I had a chicken salad. It felt good because I've been dunking on sweets a hell lot these past few days, which includes sharing this sinful dessert. Not good.
My friday started out missing my fiance real bad. Thank you guys for cheering me up momentarily!

Hush.

Can you ever keep a secret, when you're told to do so? Ask yourself.

Good Progress!

I just completed my final year project, awhile ago..
I'm so glad that, aside to all them feedbacks my team received, "Well done!" was apart of it!
I really deserve today's rest.
Because I know, once all of this is done, I will miss all the perks being a full-time student.

A gadget beyond my wildest dreams.

Little did I know, he would surprised me again. His reason, "I love seeing you happy.." Happy? I was delirious! You totally swept me off my feet, honey.. He actually took a video of me getting all crazy when he got me this gift. I had this feeling I was talking gibberish when I found out it was an iPad 2.
I swear, it was a gift that I totally did not expect. As a matter of fact. I never expected any gifts today! It was so surreal.. We had an agreement before this, to celebrate this year without any gifts exchange! He lied to me. I felt so bad because I was the one without a present..

I'm still schooling anyway... Hehe!
How can I ever thank you enough, my one and only...
I'm not supposed to be blogging, right now.. I should be memorizing my skills for tomorrow's practical test.. But, this is such a fantastic news to share with all of you! I'm really lucky to meet you in high school, darling.. I'm glad we shared and are still sharing the same feelings for each other. I will never want any other man in my life, no one else, other than you. Please know that.

You're my everything..
Just like this new gadget right here... *hugging it*

PS: By the way, the movies were brilliant! I watched them twice and it was still as entertaining..

Fiesuzanna is 10 today!

I spammed my Instagram and Facebook accounts already! Those who followed, you're the first to know. 17 July 2011, marks a decade of love with my then boyfriend.. Yeah.. You can call it first love.. Now, fiance:)

No one knows the amount of obstacles, we went through. Even when I share 'em stories with my friends, right now, only those who were there will know how it was really like..

This year, we decided to take it slow and humble. Simplicity.. Movies, popcorns and nachos cheese. He's finally watching Transformers: Dark of the Moon and HangOver 2 with me! I'm so happy!

Unfortunately, tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday I will be having my practical test, class test and final year project presentation respectively. But, I'm not in the mind. I'm very glad that he manage to take time off from work and spend this Sunday with me.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

I went to catch a movie with my practical classmates, awhile ago.. I'm very happy that everyone was present. Some had to cancel project meetings, etc .. Just to make this a successful outing! Thank you so much.. Anyway, majority of them have been with me since my first year! We went to a theatre nearby our school to catch Transformers: Dark of the Moon. I heard an equal number of people telling me that it was not good and otherwise. So, today I'm about to find out what are my feelings for this movie..
I know, you know the food available in the cinemas but I just had the urge to snap the food to tempt you to buy on your next movie trip! Hehe.. Hungry right? Click on the image and you will drool for it.. *wicked laughter*
One of the best movies I have ever watched in a real long time! I had that mixed feelings moments. I felt like I was in the movie. I laughed, I cried and I felt angry. Can you believe it? My lecturer said I was so dramatic .. That's 'cause I was seriously following the movie. I personally think there's no different with or without Megan Fox. All I know is, I kept eyeing on her to-die-for body. Possible? Yes, possible. *side-track bit* Anyway, I do not know why but I have this crazy emotion with bumble bee. He made me cry twice. I had him for making me emotional .. Story line was surprisingly clear cut but I cannot deny that I was getting slightly impatient what Optimus Prime keep losing the battle. When his had got chopped off by the first leader (Sentinel Prime), I went like, "When will Optimus win? Why he kept losing.." Maybe that was a bit too draggy.. Other than that, it was fully loaded with action and transformation.

My verdict: 4.5 out of 5 popcorns!

MUST WATCH!

I might consider getting their DvDs ... I love all 3 Transformers!
I hope my fiance will bring me to watch it again in a much more comfortable seat! He's a very busy man, unfortunately.. Have yet to watch Hangover 2 again with me also! *sad face*
After that, we all head for dinner in Long John Silver even though we're all so filled from the junk while watching the movie. Some had to leave but we didn't mind. Most of us catch up on old and new stories, we managed to catch a glimpse of our lecturer's husband and those who were there had a good time, laughing. Can we do this again? Sadly though, this is my last year enjoying life as a student. After that, I have to focus on my contract and "stellar" mode. Good luck to me.

1st cousin in my family to thee wed.

My sister (left), cousin and me! My first cousin, in my BIG family, finally settle down today and officially thee wed yesterday. The wedding was held in Lagun Sari, on the third floor. Quite a cool place, I must say, but I dislike the location ... Nevertheless, congratulations, Sister Aisha and we welcome the first cousin in-law to our BIG family!

May the both of you lead a spectacular life together filled with everlasting love.

The best tea I've ever tasted, without sugar.

I met Mann, again, awhile ago for High Tea. It was my first time and I'm a real sucka for tea. Apparently, I don't drink coffee. I remembered dunking on loads of coffee when I was 15 till 16. After I left secondary school, I just stopped. 'Arteastiq' is located inside Meritus Madarin Gallery Mall, Level 4. The ambience was so relaxing.. I felt like as though no one was rushing for time.
I absolutely love the presentation of the tea that was served to me. Mann ordered Lychee Tea and I ordered Pear Tea. A set of Pear Tea was SGD$11. As you can see in the picture below, it comes with a cup, what it seems to me that looks like an experimental glass pot if we wanna re-fill the drinks in our cup, choosing between waffle biscuits or dark chocolate bars and a shot of sugar rush. I ordered an additional cake called 'Adam' which is actually an apple cake. Side-track: I have no idea what's the relation between an 'Adam' and apple cake. But, oh wells. *giggles* The apple cake was SGD$8.50. Mann is a hardcore tea lover, just like me! But she win me already.. She manage to gulp down 2 rounds of her Lychee Tea!
My fiance knows me best. I'm a tortoise eater. I love and enjoy conversations in between my meal. I will take my own sweet time to eat and finish up my food/drinks. I will have an uneasy stomach if I were to consume too fast. Oh, back to the Pear Tea... It was delicious! Yes.. They take some time to prepare your order because they brew it fresh! I didn't know what to order and I wanted to try lemongrass but the word 'lemon' made me hated the drink even before I could taste it. So, I ordered Pear Tea, which was stated as a 'Must Try' tea in the menu. It turned out to be so heavenly.. In addition to that, I love the fact that the Pear Tea is sugar-free tasty! I didn't pour in the shot of sugar rush and I could taste the pear flavor with a hint of natural sweetness. It was my thirst quencher for the day and I really loved it!
The Pear Tea tasted super duper good in its own!
Of course, if you're interested to check out the place, chill, hang out till late, etc. You might wanna check out this place out! Thanks to Mann for arranging the reservation and all...
Mann was so sweet! She got me a hand cream. It was so unexpected, I had no presents for her!
Thank you so much, Mann!

Kite Flying: Marina Barrage

We had problems flying the kite (below) and eventually bought a kite in Barrage Cove for SGD$15.80! Price is in total but items were sold separately.. Kite was on offer for SGD$9. I bought the cheapest kite string (40m) available and it was for $3.40. The kite salesman recommended me a higher range of kite string but hell ... It was selling at $13++. I'm not participating in a kite competition so I got the cheaper one. After that, I got a kite hooker; 3 hooks for SGD$3.40. This means I can get 2 more beautiful kites!

I think I should keep this kite (I bought) with care so that whenever I wanna go kite flying, its there.. Before this, I kept buying kites whenever I went kite flying and threw it away after that..
Marina Barrage was packed with kids on holidays! Anyway, before all the buying and flying excitement.. I found this kite (above) in the comfort of my own home and decided to see it fly. The three of us took a few hours to make it fly but to no avail. My fiance and brother did not give up still and kept trying.. There were so many people looking at how silly the three of us were. While we're trying to fly the kite above, we had a mini-picnic! Singapura Specials and Meat Lovers from Canadian Pizza 2-for-1.
Finally, after buying this real cute kite with a lion on it (below), a SINGLE attempt and it flew freely up to the sky! We're all so bummed. I was cracking my head.. Why didn't my previous kite fly? I kinda realized that, maybe.. Just maybe.. The front ends of the kite did not meet and the kite had some weight on, so it didn't fly as free as the 'lion kite'. The three of us felt so silly!
We ditched the lousy kite and played with the one that we bought. It flew all the way up. My fiance said that when he was a kid. He learned to coat the kite with glass. He will pound the glass and soak it with a strong glue.. Using gloves, he coat the string with pounded glass and glue, let it dry.. When his kite flew and got tangled up with another, it will cut off the other person's kite and his kite still flew freely up in the sky. He's such a mischievous boy. I love him so much!
Look at our 'lion kite'! If only you guys were there.. Spectacular view!
We manage to catch part of the sunset too...
I truly enjoyed myself! I'm glad that I brought my brother along with me. This is just the start of our adventure my lil' bro, there's more to come! With us around.. We'll expose you to a whole new level of experience, locally and as the time goes by, globally!
PS: I didn't bring a camera along with me and all my photos were captured using my iPhone. Edited my photos using Adobe Photoshop Express and Instagram. Text image by Tweetgram.

Engagement Appreciation.

One of the most happiest days of my life and I know that this is just the beginning of it. I would like to thank my family for trusting my fiance to take care of me. He's been with me since I was 12 years of age and, right now, I can safely say.. He's still the one. In my religion, the engagement phase will be the most difficult and the most challenging.. Well, I'm ready to face it.

I would like to thank my relatives for their support, without it, the event would not have been successful. I would also like to give a special shout out to Norizan for being there during my pre-engagement and on the engagement day itself. Thank you so much..

To all who came, if you are reading this.. Thank you so much for making my day a very special one.. I apologized if I left out invites to many, whom I knew.. I hope these photos puts a smile on yours as much as it did on mine. During my solemnization, I will definitely invite a lot more because, to me, that day will be the most happiest day of my life and the best part is.. My fiance will be there with me.  I can't wait!

Finally, thank you Natasha for the photos! You edited them just the way that I wanted it to be.. As for my beautiful make-up, it was done by 'Selly'. I was so nervous a week before my engagement day, I was so worried that I won't look like what I've envisioned in my mind. Mr. Zul and Ms. Ros, owners of CHANTIQUE The Bridal Gallery,  assured and calm me down. I seriously thank them for their patience, understanding, over-friendliness and tolerance. They introduced Selly to me and I was able to discussed with her the kinda look I wanted on my face. She did an amazing job! After that session, I slowly managed to handle myself. I can't wait to see them again soon for the big one..

Thank you so much for the amazing outfit, Mr. Zul and Ms Ros, I love my engagement outfit so much! Thank you so much, Ms Selly for beautifying me like a disney princess during my engagement, I can't wait to do this again for my big day!

I PROMOTE: If you're interested in this single outfit, I wore you can check out CHANTIQUE, The Bridal Gallery's website, multiply pageFacebook Fanpage or simply add them as a friend! Also, if you're looking for a skilled photographer and you're amazed by her work above, you can check out the rest of her work HERE! Father's Day in the Snow!

Today is father's day and my family, including fiance and sister's partner, celebrated a day earlier playing with fake snow! It was so hard to get my dad to do something fun because he is a serious person to start with but I think I'm at that age whereby I can start to 'boss' him around (I must add this word 'sometimes' because MOST of the time he'll boss me around) and 'persuaded' him to go.. Eventually, it was a success!

It was my family first time to Snow City. I kept nagging to my fiance about how much I wanted to play with real snow, he said, "One day, you will.." Fair enough, I will wait for that day to come. Earlier this year, his company was selling tickets to Snow City at a cheaper price, in conjunction to his company's family day. He bought it for my whole family! The tickets include entrance to iMax and Science Centre but since the tickets expire end September 2011, we'll save it for another time..
Snow City with my family was incredibly exciting because without them, it will be so boring. The snow place was so small with one big slide. There was a cable car, an igloo, what looks like 'Santa's house', a snowman and some reindeers. Can you imagine all that in such a small place? Oh, not forgetting the amount of people who were there on a Saturday, I felt slightly claustrophobic.

I think cameras should be allowed during 'play-time' because all the shots they took, we had to pay such a hefty price for it. $30 for 1 A5 shot and 2 different passport shots each, 5 prints in total. So expensive! Collection of outfits, gloves and boots were equallly haphazard. Thank god we bought tickets at a much cheaper price..

Anyway, the texture of the snow in Snow City was kinda rough. I bet real snow is much smoother and formable.. Nevertheless, we all did what we always wanted to do.. Snow Ball Fight! Fun, fun, fun! Also, lying down and waving our arms and legs at the same time! Fun, fun, fun! We're all drenched after we're done!

After all the laughter, love, picture-taking and throwing ice at each other, we're all hungry and decided to head out further to Singapore Flyer and have our dinner in Popeyes! I have to admit, I prefer eating Popeyes chicken now than KFC's and Arnold's Chicken.

After dinner, my sister brought us to SCAPE (beside Cineleisure Orchard). Her friends set-up a store in the flea event there, so she 'dragged' my whole family down to support her friends. Honestly, I'm not a flea market kinda person. I usually shop in malls or online but yesterday, changed everything. I can;t wait for their next flea or whenever there's another flea, I wanna be there. Prices are all beyond affordable and, best part is, you can bargain!

One tip from me though, you MUST walk/browse thoroughly (once or twice) what they're selling and items you will want to buy first. After that, look out for the prices because some stores sell 1 for like $8 and another 2 for $10. Make sure you profit from the flea, not the other way round. Don't forget, bargain, bargain, bargain! Or else, might as well shop in the mall with air-con and a comfortable fitting room!

Look at that! Yesterday, my sisters bought a rad dress for ONLY $2 okay! Dirt cheap shit! I didn't do any shopping since it was the first for and there were so many youngsters. I feel so old since now I'm already engaged. As a matter of fact, I don't hang out in Cineleisure Orchard during my teen years. Come to think of it. I don't have a specific hangout in high school! OMG. Youngsters nowadays so exposed and lucky, yet sadly some seriously abuse such freedom. Just saying.

I officially love Father's Day 2011. It was truly epic. Nothing beats family outings. I love it. Although Mother's Day was simple yet meaningful, I hope both my Mommy and Daddy enjoyed yesterday's outing as much as all my siblings do!

We love you everyday, Mommy and Daddy!
Happy Father's Day, Daddy!
