I'm not ignorant about this, they did a lot for our country.

I would like to thank SM Goh Chok Tong and MM Lee Kuan Yew for everything that they have done for us. Singapore might be a small country but we are becoming more successful. All this would not have been possible if not for them. I do not know why people would 'rejoice' ... Few things that the younger generation must know. My definition of younger is 20 years and below, through hard work and determination success reigns. If we're gonna be complacent and rest on our laurels, we will not progress further.

Most importantly we must all accept that Singapore is going into the aging population. We must not neglect our 'seniors' and take good care of them. The next general election 2016 will definitely be a far more challenging one. It does not mean MM Lee Kuan Yew and SM Goh Chok Tong are 'scared' to face GE 2016. I feel that our younger generations are being slightly ignorant about the fact that they have contributed so much to this country. The least we can say is, "Thank You."

Its not so hard right. Although a "Thank You" will not be enough to compensate their commitment for Singapore. We need experience people so that Singapore will remain strong and will not be an easy target/pushover.

Eventhough they have officially step-down, I'm really glad they're still sticking around. Mr. Goh Chok Tong will be giving out his best to Marine Parade, our senior advisor for MAS and the honory title of emeritus senior minister. Mr. Lee Kwan Yew will be our senior advisor for GRC.

I'm deeply sadden by this news. To be honest, I'm slightly doubtful about Singapore future and I'm kinda scared of GE 2016. (If Singapore gets to live till the next GE 2016, of course..)

Nevertheless, I hope whatever happens, the newly appointed PAPs representing Singapore will continue to remember these two strong men and continue to learn from them or achieve even greater heights till the next GE 2016. PAP must step up their game to convince the younger generation.
