I went to meet Shelby today to collect my lens. I can't wait to share with you my upcoming entry!

I received ColorBlend lens (dailies) from Shelby. As for the Illuminate lens, my sister won all that in one of the freshlook's giveaway she participated on their facebook page. When I was selected as one of the 30 freshlook ambassadors, I received a similar amount of Illuminate lenses but, now, stocks are massively running low! Now that I have these colors (above), I can totally doll up my eyes according to my mood! Side-track bit: You know, sometimes, I'm glad that my hard work and innate interest in blogging (despite my crazy schedules) is somewhat recognized and rewarded.

I chose dailies because I have terribly sensitive pair of eyes. I remembered one time when I was down with conjunctivitis ... It was ghastly. I bet Medusa has more gorgeous looking pair of eyes! Since then, I swore never to wear lenses again after using it once. I will discard it. Oh, I didn't use Freshlook before. I bought some cheap no brand lenses and I can't believe that I re-used it for like a month plus or two. If you're plano, like me, i advise using daily disposable contact lenses!

I cannot wait to dress up my eyes!

If you have read my previous monthly entries, you should have known by now that I'm an official Freshlook Illuminate fan, which totally explains why I am a freshlook illuminate ambassador! 

I was told that I will be receiving my color lenses, real soon. Although there's no specific date, I'm very excited for it. I gotta say through, when you're henna has beautiful decorations on them, you can consider daring color lenses like blue, turquoise and green. Personally for me, I will stick to either honey, brown, pure hazel or my all-time favorite "big eye" lens, freshlook illuminate! My fiance kept telling me that I look like an alien whenever I wear peculiar color lenses. He said, "If you're wearing green on that day, you probably fit with those green lenses on but try to stick to normal colors, dear." What can I say. He knows what looks good on me and what doesn't and I'm glad to hear it from someone close to me rather than people I do not know.

I saw this news on 5, yesterday and I felt the need to make it clear that I'm not apart of this.

"The Health Sciences Authority confiscated over 100 boxes of counterfeit coloured contact lenses after raiding five optical shops across the island. More than 10 people are also being questioned in connection to the case.

This is the first case of counterfeited health products being sold by legitimate suppliers such as licensed optical shops. Previous cases had always been restricted to the black market.

The counterfeits were fraudulently labelled as "FreshLook ColorBlends" Contact Lenses from CIBA VISION and found to be unsafe and of poor quality --- for instance, the solution in which the lenses are packed were tested and determined to have been contaminated with a harmful bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which is known to cause serious eye infections. HSA was alerted to the distribution of counterfeits by CIBA in mid June this year, and is stepping up its surveillance activities in optical shops. No action has been taken against any of the shops as of now as HSA says it will wait for the conclusion of the investigation.

Investigations are still ongoing but HSA is issuing a warning advisory to customers as these contact lenses are still in circulation, and the packaging for the counterfeit is very similar to the actual thing. Consumers are advised to look out for spelling errors in packaging, and to report any discomfort to their doctors and optometrists. Any persons found supplying counterfeit medical devices such as contact lenses are liable to a penalty of $100,000 and/or a jail term of up to 3 years if convicted."

Check for the authenticity of the packaging and ensure that you visit CIBA Vision's official site and check how the 'real' packaging looks like. I'm with freshlook and CIBA Vision for nearly a year plus, so I just wanna make this clear that I am not apart of promoting the counterfeit CIBA Vision contact lenses. I can’t wait to try it! If I want to add much more colors to what I’m wearing now, this is the color of my choice! Many of my current friends know that I’m a big fan of the color gold. But, when I was younger, green was my most favorite! I can feel the love coming back as I am writing ... I love green ... 

But gold (and recently, bronze) suits me better now..

This month I’m inspired by Jennifer Lopez and Jessie J.

I hate just the right lens for if I wanna mimic their beautiful gorgeous eyes.

Jennifer Lopez has a glowy skin and for a mother of two, she’s got it going on and such a healthy curvaceous body/booty. If you wanna have J.Lo (for short) eyes, you can never go wrong with Freshlook Illuminate!

Next will be Jessie J. She’s one cool british celebrity wearing interesting lipstick! I’m not to sure if any other celebrities actually came up with this trend. All I know, Jessie J did it first. If you wanna get Jessie J’s ‘attitude’ look. I suggest something different and daring. A lens with a hint of blue in it. Very subtle but screams character. Beware that under sunlight, the color blue will be slightly more visible..

My other suggestion would be Amethyst lens.

This would be for those who prefer something much more humble and still keeping ‘attitude’ look on. If you ask me, I prefer big eyes. I’ll create Jessie J’s look with big eye lens.

Now, visualing beautiful eyes with J.Lo and Jessie J. I wanna learn how to add them bling bling to my lips. I think it’ll be so difficult to converse with such a lip.

Be sure to dress right with the right lens color!

In March I was looking up on my holistic predictions. I’m not a horoscope believer but I think, for a change, it will be really fun if I can actually change the colour of my eyes according to the prediction of my horoscope.
