In the comic book, Sif is the sister of Heimdall and Heimdall is a friend of Thor since their childhood. As they grown up, Sif is created into warrior and fighter to protect Asgard. Sif loves Thor but she didn’t have a chance to live her love as Thor has thrown away into earth. There is story that Sif has finally shared her love with Thor, but in the end we know that Thor only loves Jane, the girl from the earth. In the Thor movie 2011, Sif is played by Jaimie Alexander. The character of Sif according to Thor movie 2011 version is dedicated to serve and protect Thor and Asgard. In order to role as Sif, Jaimie Alexander has done a lot of work out and gym exercise. The character of Sif is real tough and skillful.
