I really love what's written on this poster. I personally think that adopting will be better because it means you're saving a bunny's life. But it's not wrong to buy too! I bought 2 bunnies (1 passed away and the other one is Megat) and adopt 1 (Marshy) from a pet store because, a young family who initially got the bunny for their kids, abandoned him. Bunnies and kids can never get along. Bunnies look 'oh-so-cuddly' but they do not like to be man-handled. I recently learned that bunnies are not meant to be seen running around or to be taken out for walks like the cats and dogs clan. Also.. Bunnies are the most vulnerable animals and a prey to most of the animals in the animal kingdom.
These are the basics actually but there are so much more about bunnies that even I didn't know about. I will tell you more, hopefully, along the way (in future entries).. I love bunnies since I was really little.. I remembered daddy brought home a huge black bunny that's a mighty hopper and I was terrified because the bunny was much more hyper than me. We had to give it away in the end because it went outta control! Then, I realized.. Bunny was not neutered yet. I was too young, by the way.. (11 years old!)
I strongly urge everyone who thinks buying a bunny will bring you luck. Only if you take care of them with all your heart.. Luck will come your way.. But if you buy them on impulse, neglect, torture and then abandon them.. Its like a broken mirror.. You'll have 7 years (or more) of bad luck!
