Washington, July 5 : Danny Boyle is reportedly keen to get Colin Firth and Scarlett Johansson on board for his art heist thriller ''Trance''.

The Oscar-winning actor is set to take Michael Fassbender’s place in the role of Aiden, reports Contact music.

Scarlett, however, is in competition with ''Star Trek'' actress Zoe Saldana and Melanie Thierry for the part. 

''Trance'' is expected for release in 2013.

London, June 25 : Actor James McAvoy is set to take up the lead role in Danny Boyle's directed thriller "Trance".

The film tells the story of an assistant at an art auction house planning a daring robbery alongside a notorious gang leader (McAvoy). However, the assistant suffers a blow to the head and loses his memory, prompting the gang to try to pry the information on the stolen painting's whereabouts from his puzzled brain using a hypnotist's skills, reports contactmusic.com.

Boyle plans to begin shooting the film in September.
