I remembered when I found out about Twitter. I was working. When I entered school, I introduced it to my friends and it didn't take long for everyone to be addicted to it. Including myself. I pitch a lotta invites and received free giveaways from there. Life was sky high when I was on Twitter. In short, I thank god Twitter was invented.

After 2 years of excitement, I guess all good things must come to an end. Let's just say, I feel that I can't be myself and express myself. I can't follow or unfollow whoever I want. I can't tweet whatever I want, whenever and however I want. I closed and open a strictly blogging-related, connecting with future bloggers or partners, Twitter account.

Please do not ask me deeper questions on what really went down. I will never tell.

Shah Rukh, Priyanka, Kareena set to rock Eid event in Dubai

Dubai, August 2 : Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan along with Indian musicians Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan and actresses Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor are all set to perform at an Eid event in Dubai.

American rapper 50 Cent and Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram will enthral music buffs at the event as well.


The show that will also feature a host of Arab, Iranian, Indian and Filipino performers, will be held on the sidelines of a consumer fair called Shoppiesta, and continue for five days at Meydan from August 3 with every night featuring two concerts.


According to organizers, apart from the concert, there will be shopping stalls, adventure sports arcades and a host of other entertainment and lifestyle attractions as well.


“We’re aiming for the masses. The majority of the tickets are going to be very well priced, starting at Dh40 for the concert and Dh5 for entry to the fair,” Gulf News quoted Krishna Ramanathan, the managing director of Citron, which owns Shoppiesta, as saying.


“This is not an elitist event. The event will feature all the things Dubai does best, from adventure sports, shopping and leisure activities during the five-day public holiday period all under one roof and all at very affordable prices,” Ramanathan added.

50 Cent Writing A Book On Bullying!

We wouldn't have expected this from him, but it's still pretty cool!

50 Cent has signed a deal with Razorbill publisher Ben Schrank to write and release a book called Playground, which will be a fictional retelling based on his childhood called Playground, and will address the topic of teen bullying!

The story, set to be released next January and will be edited by Laura Arnold, will reportedly focus on a 13-year old schoolyard bully "who finds redemption as he faces what he's done."

Fiddy says in a statement:

"I had a strong desire to write 'Playground' because I wanted to explore how a kid becomes a bully. I drew on events from my own childhood and adolescence, but was excited to see the story take on its own life. This book would have been very helpful for me growing up and now that I have a teenage son, it is my goal that this will have a positive influence on all teenagers."

And what a great perspective to take!

We think it's just as important to look at WHY kids become bullies, not just the victims of it!

We'll be very curious to check this one out when it's released!
