Indian filmmakers are going online for various tasks like finalizing the title of a movie or arranging for finance. Producer Mahesh Bhatt is also using social networking sites to finalize the main poster for his forthcoming thriller 'Murder 2'.

Directed by Anurag Basu, 'Murder', starring Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi, was a big hit when released in 2004. For 'Murder 2', Mohit Suri has wielded the megaphone and Sri Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandes has replaced Mallika in the film that hits the theatres July 8.

'We've five posters, but every film has one main poster besides other publicity posters. There was a disagreement between me and Mohit Suri on the main poster of the film. We thought the best way out is to show all the posters to the people of the country and let them select one,' told Bhatt.

Surfers can view the posters on facebook and vote for their favorite one.
'Mohit and I'll blindly go ahead with the people's opinion,' told Bhatt. He added, ‘At the end of the day, posters are for the people, so let them tell us which the best poster of the lot is. In fact, now we are eager to know which one people will select.'

Bhatt had previously uploaded the 'Murder 2' trailer on his Twitter page and had tweeted, 'This promo has created a rift within our group. We have extreme views. Please watch this and send me your feedback.'

Ila Arun will play Mamata Bannerjee in a film?

Singer-actress Ila Arun, who will be seen in crossover movie 'West is West', would like to play West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee in a movie.

'If given a chance, I would love to play Mamata Banerjee in a movie. I love her. She is a very intelligent women and full of life. I want to wear rubber chappals and plain saree like her and play a dynamic politician,' Ila said journalists.

Last seen in Shyam Benegal's national award winning movie 'Well Done Abba', Ila will be seen playing the role of discarded and abandoned wife in 'West is West', which is a sequel to crossover movie 'East is East' directed by Andy DeEmmony.

'I have enjoyed doing the role of a rejected and abandoned women in the film. I worked very hard for it and have learned Pakistani Punjabi,' said Ila, who has teamed up with veteran actor Om Puri in the film, which releases June 10.

Mallika Sherawat is hotter in 'Jalebi bai' than 'Shalu ke thumke'!

The crew of 'Double Dhamaal' had quite a treat on the sets and not just with actress Mallika Sherawat grooving sensuously to the song 'Jalebi bai', but also with piping hot jalebis.

Director Indra Kumar used to order as much as 25 kg of jalebis (Indian sweet) daily for the whole unit to feast on. In fact, on the last day of the song's shoot, all the unit members including choreographer Ganesh Acharya and diet conscious Mallika had a party of sorts with hot jalebis.

'The item song was shot at Mehboob Studio, and the mood was so festive and celebratory that we decided to have sweets everyday in honour of the song! We ordered around 25 kilos of sweets for the whole unit and since sweets are always associated with celebrations, the entire mood of the crew used to be very upbeat,' told Kumar.

Mallika is previously being talked about for her sizzling dance in the song 'Shalu ke thumke' from the yet to be released 'Bin Bulaye Baraati', but Kumar tells 'Jalebi bai' is a step ahead.

'The song promos will be up by this weekend, and we are sure it will be a huge talking point! Mallika has outdone herself as Jalebi bai,' he added.

'Double Dhamaal', a co-production by Reliance Pictures and Maruti International, will release June 24. The world premiere of the film will take place on the same date at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend, to be held in Toronto.

Aishwarya met Salman in an event!

The industry is anxiously waiting to see if Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan will come face to face today.

The occasion being the extravagant marriage of Mallika Reddy, daughter of socialites Pinky and Sanjay Reddy on June 10, the guest list of this high profile marriage includes not only Mukesh Ambani but also big luminaries from Bollywood including the Bachchans, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Ashwarya is most likely to fly down to Hyderabad. And Salman, who is very close to the Reddys’, also plans to visit Hyderabad for the marriage.

Ashwarya has, so far, cautiously avoided facing Salman to avoid unpleasant moments. Now, the two can unavoidably come face to face and the whole of B- town is waiting to see what the outcome will be.
Salman is also expected to bump into his rival Shah Rukh in the party.
